Elemental Chi Kung Workshops - Dublin 2011

12th February (Water); 9th April (Wood); 11th June (Fire); 10th September (Earth)

4 x 1 day workshops emphasising the Elements, the first being Water followed by Wood, then Fire and Earth. Each of the elements manifest in the body in different ways as well as inter-relating with each other. Chi Kung is an ancient Chinese form of movement exercise that promotes the flow of Chi (vital energy) through the body. Chi Kung is comprised of exercises for stretching and mobilising the body and joints, breathing techniques, slow movement exercises, static postures, and meditation. These workshops are aimed at beginners and experienced practitioners alike.

There will be a Metal weekend workshop later in Autumn 2011 - details to follow.

Chi Kung/Nei Kung Classes in North London
 
Monthly Saturday Class 
9th July; 10th Sept; 8th October; 12th November;
10th December (there will be no class in Aug)

10am to 12.30pm

The aim of this class is to explore some very interesting, strengthening and healing Chi Kung techniques. The first part of the morning will focus on an eight step Nei Kung form which really helps to strengthen ligaments, tendons and to help align the body, very helpful in healing musculo skeletal problems and improving general flexability and core strength. The second part of the morning will focus on natural motion which is an unusual style of chi kung that is a very helpful way of listening to your body,learning to sense whats happening in your system for clearer bodymind awareness.
